The Birth of a Weatherman!
The morning began different from the past several mornings. The sun was visibly rising in the east, whereas for days it had been hidden above overcast skies. The sunrise was beautiful against the early frost on my way to work.
Today, was also a special day. 22 years ago my brother Jason was born, and ironically his birthday falls on a SkyWatch day. You see, he is in his final semester of college studying Atmospheric Science. And, boy, does he know weather!
I am so proud of all that he's accomplished, and his understandings of how the sky works...the earth, the oceans, the atmosphere.
Wonderful skies. The sunset is beautiful.

Hello Amanda, thanks for your comment on my last week's Skywatch. I'm very late catching up.
ReplyDeleteYou've written such a sweet tribute to your wee brother. Atmospheric Science is a pretty important specialism to have - good for him.
